Karly

Thank you so much to everyone who inquired after this beautiful dog. German Shepherd Rescue is delighted to inform us that Karly has now been adopted into a lovely home where she also has a canine playmate.

ORIGINAL ADVERT: KARLY

Karly

Purebred German Shepherd, Karly is a much-loved girl who will be 2 years old in December. She has a lovely temperament but cannot stay at her rural home because she attacks sheep. Because of this behaviour she now spends most of her time tied up.

Karly

Karly is a well-trained dog who knows the basic commands, but could do with some more work on coming to the call. She loves company, so it would be great if she could live with someone who could be with her most of the time...especially in the early days in her new environment. In the short term an approved foster home (which could extend to permanent placement) would be ideal.

Karly is somewhat underweight at present and some weight gain would be preferable prior to being placed in her new forever home. Karly is spayed, registered, micro-chipped and vaccinated.

This pretty dog has been to puppy school and dog obedience classes and will be a wonderful pet for the right applicants – provided there are no sheep in the vicinity. Experience with the breed and/or large dogs would be an advantage.

I anticipate applications from loving people with securely fenced properties who can provide some daytime company and who have time to put into further training with lots of exercise and playtime for Karly. All enquiries should be made directly to The German Shepherd Rescue Trust by completing the dog adoption application form at http://www.gsdrescue.org.nz/adoption-application.html
