ORIGINAL ADVERT: BRONXY MUST HAVE A CAT-FREE HOME
Bronxy is looking for a fun and cuddly home.

Her early life is unknown, but when she ended up in the dog pound and her caregivers were contacted, they said they didn’t want her back. Because of her loving nature, the pound staff kept her there longer than is usual, and a wonderful family finally adopted her.

Sadly, Bronxy was in her new home less than a month due to her fixation on their cat. It was a heart-wrenching decision, but they couldn’t put their feline friend at risk, so contacted us. Unless she is in a fully fenced area, we recommended that Bronxy is kept on her extender leash due to her intense prey drive.

Bronxy is a three-year-old Corgi x Jack Russell. She adores human company and loves to be cuddled on laps and in arms - where she regularly falls sound asleep. Bronxy enjoys car rides even more than her regular walks.

She also likes to playfully run with other dogs, but because she is a gentle and sensitive soul, any canine in her new home would need to have an equally soft disposition.

Bronxy has been de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and registered. This sweet little girl has a delicate digestive system so her successful applicant will need to continue feeding her a prescription diet. Bronxy must be taken to a series of group training classes as a condition of her adoption to increase her commands beyond ‘sit’. She can be distracted by enticing scents and pulls on the lead if something catches her eye. It would be great if her new caregiver can run at least short distances with Bronxy when she has bursts of happy energy.

This cute companion dog sincerely wants to belong, she is begging for love and stability and we are determined that her next home is her final one. If you think you are the caregiver to give her a happy and stable future, we very much look forward to your application.
