Lucky Ned has found a wonderful place to live out the rest of his days with a loving family to fuss over him.
ORIGINAL ADVERT: NED
NED IS A BEAUT DOG FOR THE RIGHT PEOPLE
Poor Ned is part of the fallout of a broken relationship. His caregivers adopted him through a breeder when he was just a few weeks old, but have now gone their separate ways and are relocating without him. His Dad was an Australian Blue Heeler and his mum was a Red, so he is a gorgeous Blue Merle with tan markings and a double coat.
Having just turned 9 years, Ned is still a playful boy who enjoys his walks, adores balls, loves to ride in the car and likes to play with hoses and water in the Summertime.
Ned is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, registered, flea and worm treated and his teeth were fine when they were checked last year. His thick coat needs a brush about once a week and he enjoys a daily leash walk.
He has lived companionably with multiple cats and gets along well with other dogs after initial introductions.
He would suit a couple or a family with older or teenaged children who have past experience caring for dogs.
Ned is used to being outside at home when his caregivers went to work and is accustomed to having both indoor and outdoor access and to sleeping inside at night.
This must continue in his retirement home. His caregiver describes Ned as "loyal, intelligent and very friendly..."
If you have a fully and securely fenced property with outdoor shelter and have the time to give to this lovely-natured, affectionate boy, I look forward to your application. Thank you.
