Cuddly Birdie seeks a cat-free home

altAn affectionate and beautiful young cat had been lost or abandoned so she started living in a tree. The kind woman who lived at the property fed the stray for four months while she tried to find the original guardians. When there were no responses, she named this cuddly tree-dweller Birdie and decided to adopt her. Sadly, although Birdie loves human attention as often as possible, she will not put up with other felines - and attacked all three of the woman’s resident cats.

Not knowing what else to do, the lady booked Birdie into a vet clinic for a lethal injection! Fortunately she also sent us a desperate e-mail. We are very grateful that our fosterer Monique could take Birdie at such short notice, but as she too has resident cats Birdie needs a home of her own.

The vet estimates that Birdie is about 3 years old. She is spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and looking for a wonderful home.
