Climate Change Marches & International Conference

Leaders from almost 200 nations have assembled at the Climate Change Conference in France. The peoples of 175 countries around the world took to the streets to demand meaningful action.

New Zealander’s really do care about the devastating effects climate change is having on the environment, humans and animals. Massive crowds of protesters marched throughout Aotearoa over the weekend as part of the People’s Climate March New Zealand.

Animal Re-homing trustees joined 15 thousand campaigners in the Auckland march last Saturday. With the deafening sound of drums, whistles, accordions, guitars, singing and chanting; our political leaders were left in no doubt that their feeble attempts at curbing our polluting habits are hugely inadequate. Thumbs up to everyone who was involved in the marches!
