Our final silent vigil to raise public awareness and get rodeo banned in New Zealand

alt Join us this coming Saturday 20th Feb to be part of animal rights history! It will be our final silent vigil to raise public awareness and get rodeo banned in New Zealand. We will be meeting up with the crowd of peaceful protestors outside the Kihikihi Domain from 1pm – 2pm. For more details click here.

We are carpooling and driving in convoy from the North Shore of Auckland, leaving at 10am. Let us know if you will be coming, need a ride or can offer a car. If you prefer to make your own way there, please tell us how many are in your group.

All signs and banners will be provided by Direct Animal Action. Bring a black top as we will all be wearing one for the demonstration.

So far this season, a horse and a bull have already died at NZ rodeo in addition to all the usual terror and injuries. If you can bear to watch the bull break his leg click here. To view undercover footage taken at last summer's NZ rodeo circuit click here.

Please also sign and share the SPCA/SAFE/Farmwatch petition before it closes next month. 43,000 have already signed – help us get to 50,000. Click here.

See you there!!!

NOTE: The photos show some of the protestors at the very successful Warkworth rodeo demonstration earlier this month. Other protestors are pictured at the picnic afterwards.
