When his doting caregiver passed away, Romeo was left sad and homeless. Fortunately his ailing mum had made arrangements with us in case she didn’t survive her illness. Romeo showered us with his wonderful affection and endearing clumsiness for nine months before one of our volunteers fell head-over-heels in love with him. Maggie’s lifestyle and property flew through our interview processes, so her family came to visit… and Romeo again proved himself equal to his name. Adoption anticipation was at fever pitch!
As soon as the house was ready with door & window signs, beds, scratch pole, litter trays and everything else a spoiled cat could want, Romeo moved in… and is as happy with them as they are with him. We are sure his previous mum is smiling from the heavens.
