We were shocked and grieved when our beautiful Posh passed away this week. In March her comprehensive vet check indicated that she was in perfect health other than having some arthritis in her hind legs and spine. An autopsy revealed that our lovely girl died from heart failure caused by the rupture of a rare tumour at the base of her heart. http://www.marvistavet.com/html

We are very grateful to all of the wonderful people who gave their time and love to ensure our ‘community dog’ had a joyful retirement. We would especially like to thank Dog Protection Society New Zealand for giving Posh permanent foster care; Greg at Bayvet for carrying out an unexpected autopsy at a significantly reduced price; and her sponsor, Vanessa, for never failing to provide for Posh’s financial needs.
Most of all we are indebted to Poshie for reminding us to embrace life with boundless enthusiasm and for displaying huge appreciation for even the simplest of life’s pleasures. We cherished every moment with our precious old girl.
