Since November last year, almost 74,000 people viewed Lily's advert, before she was recently adopted by the most perfect family... with the most perfect property.
We were so delighted with the applicants and their home that we broke our own protocols to leave her in their care on the same day they met her.
We drove back from the Waikato to our Auckland shelter in full confidence that Lily would be adored and cared for until the end of her natural lifespan.
