Beautiful dumped kittens seek adoption

Our volunteer, Samantha, was at Sherwood Park in Browns Bay with her friends at about 8.30pm on Tuesday night, when a white van pulled into the car park. It wasn't until it drove away that they realized two beautiful fluffy kittens had just been dumped.

The friends quickly gathered the kitties into their arms, contacted us and searched the area widely for any litter-mates. Nearby residents were alerted to the possibility that other cats may have been abandoned. This is teenagers at their best! Well done guys! You're awesome!

NOTE: If you live near the Sherwood shops on Auckland's North Shore, please keep an eye out for any kittens or perhaps an unknown mother cat.

Please private message us if you know someone with a white van who may have abandoned these vulnerable babies in a popular park for dog walkers. Animal abuse and abandonment can be a part of domestic violence. Any leads to the perpetrator will be treated in confidence.
